My Night-Time Skin Care Regime with Farfetch

Skincare is always so important to me. Long gone are the days where all I would use is a face wipe to look after my face... eek! However, I have finally got a good set routine which helps my skin appear much more alive and blemish free when I wake up. When FarFetch got in touch with me about their latest competition on night-time skincare, I had to get onboard. I much prefer to do my skincare routine at night because it's the perfect excuse to pamper yourself before sleeping. Plus, they say your skin heals itself when you sleep? Although this isn't much different to my daily skincare routine, I do have a range of interchangeable products that I use depending on how my skin has reacted throughout the week.

Every night essentials.

Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion | Here | £9.95

I recently picked this up in my latest payday beauty haul and I think I have fallen completely in love with it. This removes all traces of dirt and makeup from throughout the day, without tugging at my skin. It's an oil-based cleanser which naturally makes it easier to remove makeup; it is suitable for all skin types, particularly very sensitive skin.

Although I have combination skin, I do feel like this works really well for me. It doesn't make my skin greasy in the oily areas and the rest of my face just loves it!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner | Here | £5.50

So, I am totally in love with The Body Shop Tea Tree range at the moment; the smell is just incredible and there are so many benefits - particularly for blemished and spot-prone skin. This toner is the perfect balance my face needs to close my pores and remove any excess dirt.

This is so refreshing and cooling on my face without stinging and it is a great base for my moisturiser. I haven't had a single spot since using this and I'm definitely tempted with more of the range. 100% recommend.

Clean And Clear Dual Action Oil-Free Moisturiser | Here | £3.25

I picked this up a while back as the lovely Emmys Beauty Cave suggested it was a great drugstore moisturiser for oily/combination skin. I think Clean and Clear mainly aim their products towards teenagers with troubled skin, however I don't really feel like my skin ever left that phase.

This is completely fragrance free which is great if your skin is a little bit more on the sensitive side and it doesn't cause irritation. For someone who likes scented products, I found this a little weird to get used to but it really does work!

Exfoliators.

Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator 50ml | Here | £11.00

I tend to use this exfoliator on the days where I've had drier skin - normally in the colder months. This contains naturally active ingredients such as Jojoba Beads, Cocoa Butter and Eucalyptus and it definitely leaves my skin feeling deeply cleansed and silky smooth.

This isn't suitable for sensitive skin types, as I feel like it could be a little too abrasive. Liz Earle claims this works best on 'congested and flaky skin' which is definitely when I feel like I would need this the most.

Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator* | Here | £13.50

I adore this scrub. It's a natural, alcohol-free exfoliator that is suitable for all skin types and doesn't contain any nasties. The scrub itself has a lovely orangey scent and contains Organic Apricot, Marshmallow, Bergamot and Mandarin.

Although it's perfect for all skin types, this works particularly well for combination skin. I exfoliate 2-3 times a week with this, to ensure that I have no lingering dead skin cells and it really does make my skin look instantly more radiant.

Eyes.

Dirty Works 'Stop Puffy Eyes' Eye Cream | Here | £3.00

I want to start by saying how underrated Dirty Works are. Their products are only sold in Sainsburys but they are so affordable and also cruelty free. Their packaging always jumps out at me in their beauty section because I mean hello?! Who doesn't love a pastel theme?! I grabbed this because I constantly suffer with puffy, under eye bags and I will literally do anything to get rid of them.

The eye cream contains Shea Butter which is intensely moisturising and soothing for under the eyes; it is also infused with proven tightening peptide to help with fine lines, stimulating caffeine to help boost circulation and light reflectors to help brighten dark circles. This eye cream has helped so much -  I wake up looking much more refreshed and my puffy, dark circles are reduced massively.

Masks.

L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Mask | Here | £5.00

I find face masks essential to a night-time skin care routine. They are so relaxing to use before bedtime, this one in particular really feels like it's giving my skin a good detox before I go to sleep. It draws out the impurities on my skin and balances complexion really well, I don't find my t-zone over compensates in oil either. I don't know if it's just me, but this mask does tingle a bit.

Whether or not that's me being too rough taking my cleanser off though, I'm not sure! It has a very strong scent of Eucalyptus to it and applies smoothly onto the skin. I apply a very generous amount of this, particularly to my more troubled areas. It dries into a hard clay, really unclogs my pores and makes my skin feel incredible after use. Depending on how messy I want to get, I use this about 2-3 times a week.

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask | Here | £24.00
I don't often use this mask and tend to save it for a drier, duller skin day as it's so moisturising and nourishing. I mostly use this in the Autumn/Winter when my skin goes into a total meltdown and it works wonders! I actually reviewed this a while back here so I won't go on too much, however it's so easy and fun to apply - plus you don't need to rinse it off. My skin looks so much brighter the next day - I totally recommend it.
