April Favourites

April Favourites
OH HAI MAY. Spring is in full swing. Poet and I (did) know it. Ok sorry, I am done.

Here's another one of my signature late monthly favourites with products I loved throughout April. You know the score. Ps. Please excuse the meh quality photos at the moment, my memory card for my camera has broken so I'm having to use my (also broken) phone. WOOP WOOP.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder | Here | £3.99

I think I've been living in the deep dark ages to not have purchased this powder until now. I hear every blogger and their dog talk about how good it is and I can now see why.

My heart has always been with loose powder, although recently I've just found the compact pressed powder much easier to carry around in my makeup bag. This keeps my skin matte most of the day and my foundation completely intact.

The only downside I have is that it does cake a teeny bit with my current foundation (L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover) but all the other foundations I've mixed it with have been fine. Overall, a great buy!

Makeup Revolution Flawless 3 Eye Shadow Palette | Here | £8.00

Makeup Revolution Flawless 3 Palette
BLADDY NORA. This has taken over my whole eye shadow palette collection and it is now my absolute favourite palette ever. No kidding. This has the perfect inbetween of matte and shimmer shades ranging from really light and bright to dark colours.

Not only that, it comes in friggen ROSE GOLD packaging. <3 My favourite thing about this palette are the really burnt orange and Burgundy shades. Literally my go-to look at the moment!

W7 Shade & Swap | Here | £2.99

W7 Shade And Swap

Every now and then, I like to pop into TKMAXX to see if I can snoop out any NARS or Too Faced bargains. On this particular trip, I didn't get all that lucky but I did find this shade & swap by W7.

I'm still trying desperately to up my eye shadow game (as I actually suck) but owning one of these has changed my life! I'm usually the sort of person who likes to use the same brush for eye shadow, so this has helped massively and leaves no residue on the brush after a few 'swishes' (??) Haha.

The only thing I do want to know is if/how I can clean it?? Anyone know?

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette* | Here | £6.99

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette

I touched briefly on this in my recent Drugstore GRWM ft. Rimmel London post where I actually showed you how the product looks on. As this is so compact, it's been coming everywhere with me and is much more travel friendly. Super handy if you're trying to save space on the go, rather than taking out all 3 individual items.

The blush in this brick in insanely pigmented gives a beautiful pink glow to your cheeks. Whereas the contour and highlight are certainly more buildable/subtle which I like for an every day look.

MAC Lipfinity in Doe | Here | £17.50

MAC Lipfinity in Doe

Mac lipsticks will always have a place in my heart. Despite the higher price tag that their lipsticks have, you do get what you pay for. Of course, I had to choose the shade 'Doe' - a lovely nude brown, because y'know, a gal can never have too many nude lipsticks.

MAC Lipfinity in Doe Swatch

It is a beautiful creamy consistency and applies without any tugging at your lips. Although it's not matte and it is very nourishing, it doesn't slide off the lips like you'd expect. The packaging is also slightly different to your classic MAC lipstick too which helps it stand out above the rest. I've definitely been wearing this most days over the last month.

What have you been loving lately? :)

    1. It's amazing isn't it?! The only thing I did wish about it is for the contour to be a bit more pigmented! Definitely - they are some of the best and most affordable around! :) xxx

  6. I love the Rimmel contour kit! It's so affordable, compact, and pigmented. I wish I hadn't purchased the Urban Decay Naked Flush kit because this is far better in terms of price!
