October Favourites

Happy November everyone! I'm sad that all of the Halloween fun is over for another year, however I am very excited that the even though I had to lay my punny Halloween Twitter name to rest, I can make way for my Christmas one (..which currently doesn't exist because nothing goes with Tania) *gets thinking cap on.* On the subject of Christmas, I may have already started listening to a few Christmas jingles here and there too. #NotEvenSorry. Can you believe it's almost a month away?! Anyway, here's what I loved throughout October.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in Santa Fe | Here | £32.00

Not gonna lie, when I first got this - I really didn't like it. I felt like it just slid off my face and it didn't even try to stay put. I dug it out after a good few months of neglecting it and decided to give it another try. Now, this is a little too dark for me, but as I still have a bit of a tan left from my holiday, this was the perfect opportunity to try it out again.

I'm convinced it must have been the primer I was using in conjunction with this because I am totally in love with it now! It gives me an effortless full coverage that doesn't feel heavy, it doesn't cake and I can trust it to stay on all day. The formula is quite watery which takes a bit of getting used to, although I have found that makes the product go a lot further - especially as this isn't the cheapest foundation out there!

John Frieda Touch Of Blonde Mini Travel Hairspray | Here | £5.29 (for set)

To be honest, I don't tend to use hairspray but when my mum gave me this freebie, I wasn't going to turn it down! I've been going to a lot more events & big occasions recently where I have curled my hair, and I have to say this stuff is fab. For someone who has the straightest hair (which refuses to hold any curl for longer than 20 minutes) I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was.

I have used a lot from the John Frieda Touch Of Blonde range and I completely swear by it! This holds your hair in your chosen style for hours and doesn't make it go all hard like some hairsprays out there. I love its compact size, in addition to how shiny and healthy it makes my hair look! Definitely recommend if you need to give your blonde a bit more wow-factor!

Byron Bay Skincare Tea Tree & Willow Bark Cleanser* | £19.60

I have recently started using Byron Bay Skincare and let me tell you, I couldn't rate it highly enough. I am not just saying that either, this is something that seriously works! All the ingredients are natural, cruelty-free, vegan and they plant a tree for every bottle sold - how good is that? I've raved about skincare before but none of them have ever compared to this. My skin is the best it's ever been and it's calmed my blemishes down so much since using! Read my full review here.

Makeup Revolution Beyond Vamp Matte Lipstick in Give Them Darkness | Here |

I totally think black lipstick should be relevant all year round.. I mean, why just limit yourself to October? I definitely feel like if you're brave enough to rock it, then do! This came in the Beyond Vamp Lipstick Collection which only cost me £6 for 3 matte lipsticks. I'd say for the price, you do get a good few hours wear out of these at least. Even without lip liner, I didn't find this bled at all so I'm really impressed with the quality!

Barry M Molten Metals Nail Paint in Copper Mine | Here | £3.99

If I want a new nail polish, I will always go to the Barry M counter first. I love how varied their colour range is and how many different styles of polish they have - who knew there could be so many?! I've seen hundreds of bloggers rave on about the Molten Metals range and I knew it wouldn't be long before one fell into my basket in Superdrug.

I picked up the shade 'Copper Mine' because lets face it, I am copper obsessed. Although I don't really have any nails, I do sometimes like to make an effort and paint them. 2 coats of this can easily stay on my nails for at least a week without chipping (which is amazing for the type of work I do!) The colour is also b-e-a-utiful!

What have you been loving recently? Have you tried any of these products? :)
