The other week, I was very kindly invited along by Katie and James to spend the evening at The Body Shop in Chichester for their Christmas Blogger event. I seem to be on a roll with events at the moment, but this one I was particularly excited for!

So, as you can imagine, I totally lost it when I saw their PowderBleu Collection* had been released and landed on my doorstep!
Sooooo... October flew by and this could potentially be my latest ever favourites post but hey - I couldn't miss one! Either way, I have been super busy over the last 2 months that writing this just sort of slipped my mind. Oh well, better late than never eh!?
The other week, I was very kindly invited to the Salon Success Jingle & Mingle Event in Brighton for the 2nd year in a row. If you saw my post last year (here) you will know the general ins-and-outs of what we got up to. It was a very similar idea this time around - just a different venue!
A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend their Christmas bloggers event in Crawley for the second year in a row, which was super fun - you can read all about it here!
Hello everyone! Happy Sunday!
Now, today is not just any old Sunday, it's the day that my little old blog turns 3 years old! THREE!!! Where on earth does time go?!

I friggen love Lush at the best of times, so when I got invited to spend the evening with them last Friday in their colourful, scented palace with a group of my favourite bloggers - I obviously couldn't say no!
Iceland is without a shadow of a doubt the most magical country I've ever visited. From the quirky, colourful streets of Reykjavik, to the breathtaking views outside of the city - it is nothing short of amazing. There isn't a single thing it doesn't have to offer and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Hellloooo! I hope you are all well and enjoying your October?
First of all, I just want to start apoligising for my lack of posting in the last 2 weeks. I have been so busy since coming back from holiday (as you can probably tell from the title of this video.. or my 1 zillion Instagram posts of the trip!) and I've just about caught up with everything!
That being said, I made a little Youtube video of our trip to Iceland recently and I'm currently in the midst of writing up the big ass post about it too, so that will be up within the next week if you want to check it out - I'd really appreciate it if you did! :)
I hope you enjoy the video, I put a lot of effort into making it look half decent and I'd love to know you thoughts! :)

The other Friday, I had the absolute pleasure of the afternoon off work and attending the Next Blogger Network event in London. The event was held in the 100 Room of the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch and my god.. What a stunning venue!
Goodbye September and hell-llooooooo October. You have no idea how excited this month makes me. Jack and I have Iceland coming up in next week, Tulleys Shocktober Fest, horror film nights, pumpkin carving AND Halloween. I AM SO EXCITED!!
It's no lie that this time of year is my absolute favourite ever! As the colder weather starts to creep in, the cosy knits come out and the autumn adventures start to happen (if I'm not hibernating under a giant blanket that is!)
Recently, I got to spend my Saturday afternoon with some lovely blogger friends at the Jo Malone store in Chichester. We were invited by the wonderful Katie from Katie Kirk Loves to celebrate the launch of the new English Oak fragrances.
Finding the right products to suit my ever changing skin type can prove difficult at the best of times. One minute it's an oily mess and the next it's crying out for moisture. At the moment, and now the colder weather is slowly creeping in (BRB getting my Autumn on) my skin seems to have a lot more dry patches popping up.
Recently, Jack and I took ourselves up to London for a couple of days to celebrate his birthday. Every year, we always make it our mission to go away somewhere for his early/belated birthday celebrations. Jack chose London again this year as it's fairly close to home, yet far enough to warrant staying the night. It also has so many fun and unique things to offer!
(To see what we got up to last year, check out my Little London Getaway post)
One of my favourite things about my Beauty Therapy days (besides all the skincare knowledge) has to be all the amazing smelling products that came with it. Whenever I find something remotely similar, it pulls me into a wave of nostalgia and I instantly feel relaxed like I am getting a massage all over again. Isn't it crazy what effects certain smells can have on you?
Recently, I was offered to try some of the Made By Coopers range. Of course I couldn't say no as anything that Aromatherapy based, I am there. I was very kindly sent 3 different products so I am here to tell you all about them and why you need them!
As I previously mentioned in part 1 of my Disney adventure, Sephora totally happened within the first 2 hours of our holiday. Of course, instead of prioritising food and drink for the following 2 days, Jasmine and I decided makeup was much more of a necessity. YOLO.
Here's what I picked up..
Garnier SkinActive Aloe Milk Cleansing Milk | Here | £3.49
If you read my blog a lot, you'll notice that recently I reviewed the new Garnier Skinactive Honey Flower Collection. I really liked the cleansing lotion a lot, however as my skin type is always changing, I picked up the Aloe Milk one for Normal to Combination.
I waffle far too much to have day two in my original Disneyland post, so I thought I'd write all about day two here as it was somewhat of an adventure - no lies!
So, here goes DISNEY DAY TWO...
GUESS WHO WENT TO DISNEYLAND? WE DID MOTHER F'ERS. Myself, Jack and our favourite emo couple Jasmine and Sean booked a last minute 3 day break to Paris for all of the fun. I last went to Disneyland Paris when I was 4, so this was all the emotions and nostalgia.
When it comes to cocktails, something awakens an uncontrollable force in me and my motivation to leave the house (and be sociable) sky rockets whilst my bank balance slowly fades into nothingness.
To prove my dedication, the other day I actually queued for 33 minutes precisely in a bar, just because nowhere else around did cocktails..
1. OMFG. DISNEYLAND IS SO MAGICAL.<3
2. Our hotel is walking distance to Sephora *cries happy tears*.
3. Oh god, do I declare bankruptcy now?
4. Ok yeah. I shouldn't have spent that much on the first day of the holiday.
5. I swear that person hates me and I have no idea why.
6. This workout is killing me.
7. I'm actually starting to like salads.
8. WHO HAVE I BECOME?
9. I wish I had more self confidence.
10. There is ALWAYS something to pay for!
11. Why am I more bloated after a workout than before?
12. Where has my motivation gone in the last 7 months?
13. OMG MY PHONE IS SO BROKEN. Pls hurry upgrade.
14. A glow in the dark cocktail? Yes please.
15. I love picnics and sunsets
16. BUT OH MY GOD, WHAT DOES THIS BEE WANT WITH MY HEAD?
17. Yay, culottes don't make me look whaletastic and now I love them!
18. I really really really want a Disney tattoo.
19. Our flight home is cancelled?!?! Help pls.
20. I think I jinxed saying I never wanted to leave Disneyland.
How's your week been? Have you been up to much? :)
x
There's no doubt that music, gigs and festivals are a huge part of my life. I said to myself this year I'd write more about things music-related and BST last weekend was definitely memorable one!
British Summer Time is a festival held over various different weekends throughout June and July in London's Hyde Park. I'm not going to lie, I never really knew it was a thing until very recently.
Serious question: How the F are we over half way through the year already?!
June was a busy month for me, so again, trying new products wasn't the easiest! Saying that, I do have the odd new product in amongst some golden oldies, so here they are!
I'm back again again blessing you all with my naked face (soz in advance) for my latest get ready with me. As my last GRWM post is actually one of my most popular posts, I thought I'd try out another one as I received some lovely new bits from Rimmel the other day!
When I get emails from Wowcher, I'm usually deleting deals for Disneyland Paris trips I can't afford (whilst sobbing) or totally irrelevant garden furniture deals. So y'know, you can imagine my disappointment.
You know when PR companies go above and beyond to send you the most generous care package? Yep. Well that is Garnier for me! I was blown away when a HUGE giant box arrived on my doorstep recently and I literally couldn't believe how amazing it was.
So, I sucked at being a blogger in May. I don't know why, I just couldn't sit down and write a post without getting stupidly distracted. Or falling down 2 stairs and spraining my ankle.. True story.
Usually these posts are all about beauty favourites but shock horror, I haven't actually purchased any new makeup this month. I know, wtf?! To be honest, I think I just spend my money on more lifestyle-y based bits this month so here they are!
I don't know why, but printed photos will always hold a special place in my heart. Taking photos is (and always has been) a huge passion of mine - even if half the time I'm just winging it and I really don't know what I'm doing!
Last weekend myself, Jasmine, Jack and Sean attended the Foodies Festival in Brighton! If you saw my recent giveaway, you'll know that the festival is held on the heart of the Hove Lawns, slap bang in the middle of Brighton and Hove and runs over the first May Bank Holiday weekend.
OH HAI MAY. Spring is in full swing. Poet and I (did) know it. Ok sorry, I am done.
Here's another one of my signature late monthly favourites with products I loved throughout April. You know the score. Ps. Please excuse the meh quality photos at the moment, my memory card for my camera has broken so I'm having to use my (also broken) phone. WOOP WOOP.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that Slam Dunk Festival is quite literally my favourite day of the year. Whilst I felt quite underwhelmed with the line-up this year, there are still a lot of bands I love (a hell of a lot) and will find myself watching. Not only that, it's mine and Jasmines 1 year friend-iversary. YAY! <3
Recently, myself and a few friends Holly and Katie went along to our local Boots to spend an evening with the Smashbox team. In store for us throughout the evening involved trying and testing their new releases (whilst finding out all about them!), eating an unruly amount of Haribo and socialising with other local bloggers!
Because who wouldn't want to be all of those things on my new notebook? Minus that, can we just talk about how ridiculously dreamy this MacBook skin is? I can now stare at an opal-ly pastel heaven every time I go to use my laptop and it makes me SO happy.
It feels like only yesterday I was telling you all how much of a rollercoaster my life was. I think a catch up is waaaaay overdue, so grab a cuppa - it's probably going to be a long one!
Where do I start...? Let's take it back to December.

I love food - there's absolutely no denying it's a genuine obsession. Snacking is probably one of my favourite things to do and If I'm going out somewhere, one way or another you can almost guarantee there's a food or drink motive behind the trip.

I never ever thought that I would be typing this, but last week a group of local bloggers and I attended a Benefit Cosmetics event in my hometown of Brighton!
Hey hey! I always hit a blank when starting a favourites post these days. I literally think I say the same thing every month.. haha! Anyway, how was your March? Didn't it fly by?! I'm here again chatting you through my favourites from last month, and where you can find them!
Finding the right skincare to match my erratic skin type can sometimes be a chore to say the least. My skin fluctuates from an oily mess and a planet of spots, to a dry and sensitive pain in the arse. I basically never know what I'm going to be waking up to from day-to-day. I've come to realise over the years that as much as I don't always want to admit it, it does pay to have great skin.
When it comes to my lashes, they are incredibly stubborn and sparse, which means finding a mascara that works for me is usually some kind of miracle.
I recently received the new Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara* through the post and needless to say I was very intrigued. My first impression of the product was that it's heavier than your normal every day mascara. Not only that, it's friggen shakeable - aren't Rimmel loving their shake technology at the moment?!

With spring fast approaching, I feel well and truly ready for new bed sheets! I am a very seasonal person when it comes to bedding; I will go to great lengths to make sure the sheets are changed and ready for the upcoming season! Although we tend to have pretty sporadic seasons in the UK, it's nice to try.. right?
OMG. It's scary how quickly this favourites post crept up (and how late it is!) Soz. I definitely panicked the other day at how little new things I've tried lately - needless to say that WILL change this month! I've definitely focussed maybe a teeny bit more on the beauty side of things on my new Youtube Channel lately, but I am still going to continue on here, obvs!
