Little Payday Beauty Haul

So, I may or may not have stumbled into a few shops (with full intent ofc) at the weekend to celebrate payday. That's allowed, right? Ignoring the fact I do go away on holiday in less than a month and I should be saving for Euros (and duty free happiness!)

I wasn't totally bad, I did actually need the majority of the things I purchased - apart from some! I thought I'd do a little haul for you as I haven't done one in ages! Keep reading to see what I picked up.

Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion | 240g - £9.95 | Here

This has to be the loveliest, easiest cleanser I have ever used! Lush have their skincare down to a T! It has a sweet, yet floral scent which includes notes of Dove Orchid, Ylang Ylang and Almond - all of these make the perfect concoction for a beautiful complexion. 9 to 5 is an oil-based cleanser that mainly focuses on really sensitive skin.

Admittedly, this scared me a bit as I have combination skin; however, after being re-assured by the incredibly friendly Lush Chichester staff, it hasn't reacted badly with my skin at all. My skin didn't overcompensate with oil in any places and was left feeling smooth, clean and hydrated.

It removes all the build-up of dirt and makeup from my face - especially eye makeup! I literally love this in a product, as there is nothing I hate more than rubbing my eyes and face until they are red raw. It's taken off so much time on my usual skincare routine and I couldn't recommend it more!

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Body Oil | £7.35 | Here

I have owned many Palmer's products in the past and will continue to buy them as long as I live, mainly because I love them and more importantly, my skin loves them. I was excited to see that they had released a Coconut Oil Formula as I've actually been meaning to pick some up for ages. I wanted Coconut Oil specifically as it has sooo many uses!

I've already found multiple purposes for this, besides just keeping my skin moisturised - it also takes off makeup and makes a fab hair treatment. I personally prefer to use oil when moisturising my body, as I find it works better with dry skin, lasts much longer and isn't as time consuming as a cream! It smells so yummy and really works a treat - I don't find it pays off on any of my clothing either. Palmers products are also cruelty free, paraben free and contain no sulfates, gluten, dyes, mineral oil or phthalates. All of that, aswell as containing ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients. Yay for everything!

NYX Liquid Suede in 07 Sandstorm | £6.50 | Here

You have no idea how long I've wanted to get my hands on this product! My local Boots in Brighton never has this, not even in the drawers (yes, I'm one of those..!) So when I popped into Chichester the other day, I went searching high and low and there it was in all of it's sandstorm-y beauty! <3

I chose this colour because it's a beautiful brown toned nude (which I'm sure will be absolutely no surprise to you) It stays matte and doesn't dry out the lips like the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams, which I wrote more about here. The applicator has flat sides similar to Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color which makes it so easy to apply and I'm totally in love with it.

Freedom Makeup London Pro Corrector Palette | £5.00 | Here

I'm not gonna lie, I am a bit of a virgin when it comes to colour correction. I'm vaguely familiar with it from my Beauty Therapy days and random diagrams on Pinterest (follow me here) but other than that, I never dabble. I knew this needed to change since my under eye bags have become so much more blindingly obvious lately. Damn you dark circles.

I was browsing the Freedom Makeup section in Superdrug and this popped out to me almost instantly in all of it's pastel-y goodness. It is a cream-based palette which claims to be super blendable - I don't really have any doubts after using many other Freedom products in the past and loving them. Freedom Makeup is so affordable and such great value for money, so I have very high hopes for this product. I'll let you know how I get on with this - if I like it I'll definitely add it to my August Favourites with a little review!

NYX Dark Circle Concealer Corrector | £6.50

I went a little crazy in despair the other day trying to find another concealer for under eye bags, as all of my usual ones just weren't cutting it. My lovely Twitter pal (@anavwednesday) recommended that I try this. I had my eye on it last time I went shopping, but I thought the consistency would be too greasy - not really even giving it a second thought.

Needless to say, after trying it under one of my eyes in the Boots - it totally brightened my eyes and didn't really seem greasy or sticky at all.

The concealer itself is infused with Coconut Oil to ensure the skin around your eyes stays hydrated and moisturised, although it's not so moisturising that it slides off. It also has a subtle orange tone to it which helps reduce the appearance of dark circles. I haven't had too much experience with this yet, however I will do a full review on it soon!

Original Source Sweet Apple & Vanilla Milk Moisturising Shower Milk | £2.29 | Here

This has been all over my Instagram lately and I had been swooning over it for too long not too buy it. When I finally found myself in the shower gel section of Boots, I picked it up immediately for a good old sniff and oh em gee! It smells like sweet heaven!

Now, I'm normally waaaaay too lazy to be moisturising after the shower (or will avoid it at all costs if I can get away with it) so I do like a good 2-in-1. I've only used this once so far in the shower and it's a lovely consistency, it isn't as thick as an in-shower moisturiser as this is a shower milk; however it makes your skin smell and feel great after using. Also another plus is that all Original Source products are vegan and natural - just incase you were wondering!

Zoella 'Sweet Inspirations' Body Mist | £8.00 | Here

Yep, you guessed it - I'm late to the party once again! I smelt this when it first came out in Superdrug and I won't lie, I didn't think I liked the smell of it - to me, it smelt odd. However, on that day the product tester was virtually empty and I was in full swing of being a hayfeverish mess.

I'm blaming my nostrils (and deathly high pollen count) for poor judgement on that day because this product smells totally beautiful - Zoe has totally hit the nail on the head once again. I know I've never been let down by any Zoella products before, so I'm glad I gave it another chance after my sniffles cleared up. It does actually smell as sweet as it sounds, and I really catch the tones of macaroon and sweet almond.

It's a really comforting and warming scent which I would say is suitable all year round, compared to the Tutti Fruity Lets Spritz Mist which is way more summer based. I think this may be a new favourite of mine and I can't wait to try more of the range!

Have you tried any of these products? :)
