Life Lately #2

Remember when Ronan Keating said 'Life is a rollercoaster, you've just gotta ride it'? Well bloody hell, he wasn't wrong. I've been a busy bee over the last few months and I feel like a catch up is totally overdue. There have been some highs and lows, but I'm here to fill you in - all for your nosey pleasure, of course!

Firstly, I'm currently in the process of looking for another job. What I am doing at the moment is really mentally draining and to be honest, it's getting me down. I finally know what I want to do in terms of a career now, so I think this is the perfect time for a change! I really want to head down the creative, social media/marketing path, but if all else fails, then an admin role would suit me nicely. In regards to that, I have just signed up to a local recruitment agency, so I'm feeling positive about what's ahead!

In other news, Jack & I have been talking a lot about moving in together recently, which I think is something that will definitely happen in the new year. Before this though, I do need a new job, there's no way I'd be able to afford it in my current situation. If I could, I'd just have to never leave the house again.. Eeeek!

We've also spoken a lot about wanting to travel California. It's something we have both really wanted to do, particularly after going to Florida last April. Whether or not we will is another matter, but it's nice to have something to save for and dream about!

Vencia Boutique Hotel, Mykonos.

So, fun things I've been up to in the last few months. I don't know where to start! Jack and I went to Mykonos back in September for the most blissful break you could ever imagine, which I wrote a post all about here. I also made a video diary of the whole trip, which you can find here.

I've attended some amazing events, such as the I Am Freedom Final & TAM Beauty Halloween Party and seen and met some amazing people along the way. I have had some exciting blogging opportunities, with many more in the pipeline that I can't wait to share with you. I've also just had My Blog's 2nd Birthday?! Umm.. where the hell did time go? I'm running a giveaway on Twitter until the 30th of November to say thanks, so be sure to enter!

This year, I've seen some of my favourite bands from back in my teenage years. Busted, Motion City Soundtrack, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, Panic At The Disco, The Starting Line. You name it, it probably happened and I loved every second of it!

Minus all the Christmas activities coming up, there is so much on the agenda for next year already. Gigs wise, we are off to see Impractical Jokers Live, David Brent, Seaway, Sum 41, Real Friends, Slam Dunk Festival, Blink 182, Green Day at British Summer Time, Micky Flanagan and so many more! Can't wait for all of those!

I am also potentially partaking in Blogmas this year.. AAAAH! I realllyyyyyy want to give myself the challenge, so I'm going to invest lots of time into writing up all the ideas I'm bursting with, and hopefully get a post to you every day for 24 days leading up to Christmas. Wish me luck! Also, let me know if you'd like me to do it?

I think that's a wrap for now!

What have you been up to lately? Hope life has been treating you well!
