Rimmel London Brow This Way Shake Filling Powder

Rimmel London Brow This Way Shake Filling Powder

Rimmel London are at it again. This time with their new, innovative brow products! Today, I'm going to be reviewing and swatching these genius Brow Shake Filling Powders* and letting you know my thoughts!

First impressions of this product, I couldn't help but wonder (and feel extremely satisfied) by the rattling noise it makes! The packaging reminded me so much of liquid eyeliner and it certainly threw me for a good 2 minutes or so!

The product itself is such a brilliant idea! I can 100% honestly say that I've never seen anything of its kind!

The main aim of this product is to fill in, define and outline your brows and it certainly does all three! I prefer to use this for filling in and defining, as I don't have the steadiest of hands (and lets face it, brows have never been my strong point!) but if you're feeling brave and blessed with slightly thicker brows, this does a great job of lining too!

The applicator is smooth and not too thick, meaning the product glides on effortlessly. The powder itself is SO pigmented, lasts ALL day (no joke) and it's even smudge, transfer and waterproof! (Tried and tested if you saw my Instagram Story a few weeks ago!).

Do be sure to apply this sparingly, as I did get a bit product happy on my first 2 attempts and noticed the slightest bit of fall out on my face. However, I can safely say that all the other times I have used this I've had no fall out at all. Yay! :)

Rimmel London Brow This Way Shake Filling Powder Swatches

The shake filling powders come in 4 different shades: Blonde, Medium Brown, Dark Brown & Black. Again, I think Rimmel have done a great job at making sure there is something for everyone! Aren't they good? I'm glad they had 2 different variations of brown, because even though my eyebrow hairs are black, I do tend to use more of a medium brown colour to fill them in for a less dramatic look.

It's so compact, as apposed to your every day brow powder palette and also a huge time saver! At £5.99, I don't think you can really go wrong with these and they're definitely worth a try!

Have you tried the Brow Shake Filling Powder yet? :)

  1. I've been seeing bloggers begin to talk about this brow powder and it's struck an interest with me. I like low maintenance brow products because for the most part my brows are nice and full. This sounds lovely and i like how it looks like a powder on the brows.

  3. I can't wait to try these! I currently only fill in the tail of my eyebrows, but this might be a better product for me than what I am currently using. Thanks for the input! I love your blog by the way!
