Quick & Easy Strawberry Lemonade

Spring is well and truly underway and lately, I think we've all been trying to make the most out of the nice weather. By that, I mean those 3 scorching hot days we've had so far.. Oh England, you little tease. I am currently obsessed with Pinterest (follow me here) and all things that sound remotely delicious, so I thought I'd take it upon myself to play around with some drink ideas.

I used to get Strawberry Lemonade in Costa (until they stopped selling it *cries*) and I knew I wanted to do my own take on it. I didn't really have anything to lose besides a punnet of strawberries, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm not one who likes faffing around too much, so I wanted to make this as quick and easy as possible. I mean, who has time for anything these days?!

As BBQ season is coming up, this is a perfect healthyish soft drink alternative to enjoy. Not to toot my own horn but let me tell you, it is SO refreshing and tastes amazing. Just sayin'. I thought I'd share with you how I did it, just incase you want to make it too! :)

You will need:
8-9 Strawberries
1 Cup Of Ice
1 and 1/2 Teaspoons of Sugar
Lemon Syrup (I got mine here
Water
Blender (If that wasn't obvious.. I like to cover all parts!)

How to make:
1. Chop up around 8-9 washed Strawberries
2. Using a regular tall glass, add a cordial measure of lemon syrup and fill to the top with water
3. Add one cup of ice
4. Add one and a half teaspoons of sugar
5. Blend together and serve in a glass topped with a strawberry garnish!
6. Add Vodka/ Rum for a cocktail alternative! (Optional, of course!)

So when I said this was super easy and quick, I really wasn't lying. It was too delicious for me to not share with you. Obviously my way of creating this is just a guideline, but you can play around to suit your taste or measurements! I love that this is actually fairly guilt-free too!

I hope you enjoyed this post and please do let me know if you'd like to see more, or if you actually made it yourself - I'd love to know! :)
