November Favourites | Blogmas #1

November Favourites

Okay, brace yourselves.. I actually uploaded a favourites on time! I think some kind of miracle has happened? On the other hand, HOW is it almost time to write the yearly favourites round-up? I'M NOT READY!

Anyway, Happy December everyone! I'm sure for most of you, the countdown to Christmas starts from today (unless you're a keeno like me and a few others, who have been counting down since the start of November..)

I thought I'd also let you know (incase the title didn't give it away) that I'll being doing Blogmas this year! AHH. I'm nervous but definitely up for rising to the challenge. I really hope you all enjoy what I have lined up! :)

Here's what I loved throughout November!

Bath & Body Works Salted Caramel Pumpkin Body Lotion | Here (similar scents) | $12.50

Bath & Body Works Salted Caramel Pumpkin Body Lotion

Firstly, this smells insane. I love B&BW in general, but their body lotions are my absolute favourite. As well as having the best scents, their lotions are extremely nourishing too - especially if you're like me and have super dry skin. They are enriched with Shea Butter & Vitamin E to guarantee soft, moisturised skin without that greasy feeling afterwards. Not forgetting that this leaves you smelling like the tastiest, autumnal sweet shop! A big thanks to my top girl Jaz for picking this up from America for me!

Makeup Revolution #RevoholicEyes Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette

Meanwhile 'Christmas shopping' the other day, I definitely popped into Superdrug to have a peek at the Makeup Revolution stand. I thought I'd try my luck to see if they had the new New-trals vs Neutrals palette and I was in luck (sadly that's put away for Christmas though!)

I only needed to spend £10 on Makeup Revolution products to get this totally free, so it was kind of a must? #RevoholicEyes is limited edition and has a wide range of shades to suit everybody. Everything from neutrals, rose golds and burnt oranges, to burgundy and bluey, green shimmers - great for any occasion!

The pigment is pretty good, and definitely buildable - depending on what look you want to achieve. The shades do become more subtle as you blend, but that's something I can see past! Lets face it, they are too cute not to want! My favourite shade is definitely the burnt orange!

Seventeen Brows That Brow Kit* | Here | £5.99

Seventeen Brows That Brow Kit

After receiving this in Love Emily's recent Twitter Giveaway, I've been reaching for this so much! I've definitely preferred using powder for my brows lately, as I tend to go a bit overboard with a pencil and it takes me so much longer to perfect.

I love the little brush that it comes with because so handy for filling in those unwanted gaps, taking next to no time at all. I always thought doing it this way would be so fiddly, but it's actually easier than a pencil! As for the brow wax and highlight, I am still yet to experiment with those!

I'd say even for the earliest beginners, this kit has you covered. You can't go wrong!

Yankee Candle Festive Cocktail Candle | Here | £7.19

Yankee Candle Festive Cocktail Candle

I have always been fully obsessed with Yankee Candles - they definitely give you a 'love at first smell' kind of moment! I do like to try chop and change my candles here and there, but I always fall back to buying these. They just get their scents so spot on for every season, and there's always something for everyone. My favourite kind for this time of year has to be fruity & spicy scents - they just bring that cosy, winter feel to any room! This definitely has the perfect balance between the two and it's very similar in smell to Mandarin Cranberry.

Freedom Makeup London Pro Powder Strobe Palette* | Here | £10.00

Freedom Makeup London Pro Powder Strobe Palette

Ever since I picked this out of the lucky cauldron at the I Am Freedom Final & Revoween, I don't think I've stopped using it. I've definitely tried to up my 'contour game' recently, as I've come to realise that if I don't, I just resemble the moon.

This palette has the perfect matte shades to contour with for different kinds of intensity, and the highlight/strobe shades range from subtle to shimmery.  I've been using the Banana Powder (top middle) the most for setting my under eye concealer, and the top right for highlighting my cheek bones. They blend like a dream and are pigmented from the first swipe!

As you can see, the pigment of the contour shades are pretty good for the price you pay. I wouldn't go as far as saying they are the same as high end brands, but it's a pretty close second! Of course, depending on how intense I want my contour to look, I alternate through the shades. Although I'm certainly no pro at contouring, having shades that are easy to work with really do make the world of difference. This won't cost you a fortune either!

What did you love last month?!
